The word must've got out amongst the hens that I was considering using a cork in their vents to slow down the egg production because today, only 5 of them dared to lay, lol.
Rita's growing many more feathers now but still sleeping a lot and hasn't laid yet.
Today is Mini's 7th birthday. Last night we all slept downstairs after watching a DVD of Ratatouille, well me, Mark and the little ones but somehow Chloe wasn't downstairs this morning and she was confused as she came down from the bedroom.....she must've sleepwalked herself to bed during the night.
Mini got a toy "Fur Real" dog and some "my little ponies" from grandma and grandad. She also got some money, chocolate and at her request.....a baby snail and the 3 white hens....Olive, Petal & Nelly. She loves her chooks, bless her.
